AL-WILDAN ISLAMIC SCHOOL 22 MAKASSAR offers an extraordinary opportunity for high-achieving students to receive a quality education without any cost until graduation. This scholarship program is specially designed to support students with academic potential and a strong passion for learning.
A total of 60 students from South Sulawesi will be selected for this scholarship program, consisting of 30 elementary school students and 30 middle school students. Each elementary school student will receive a scholarship worth Rp. 171 million, while each middle school student will receive a scholarship worth Rp. 124 million.
Each scholarship recipient will receive full support from the school in the form of tuition fees, books, uniforms, and various other needs until they complete their education at the elementary or middle school level. This scholarship program aims to alleviate the financial burden of education and encourage students to continue achieving and growing academically.

SEJARAH HARI LINGKUNGAN HIDUP
Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia diperingati setiap tanggal 5 Juni sebagai upaya global untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan tindakan dalam menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan hidup. Sejarah hari ini berkaitan dengan berbagai peristiwa dan gerakan lingkungan yang mendorong perlindungan alam secara global.
Konferensi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) tentang Lingkungan Manusia (Stockholm, 1972): Peringatan Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia dimulai sebagai hasil dari Konferensi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa tentang Lingkungan Manusia yang diadakan di Stockholm, Swedia, pada tanggal 5-16 Juni 1972. Konferensi ini merupakan forum pertama yang secara serius membahas isu-isu lingkungan global dan menjadi tonggak penting dalam pengembangan kesadaran global tentang perlindungan lingkungan.
Pendirian Program Lingkungan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (UNEP): Sebagai hasil dari Konferensi Stockholm, Program Lingkungan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (UNEP) didirikan sebagai badan khusus PBB untuk mempromosikan perlindungan dan pemulihan lingkungan global.
Resolusi PBB tentang Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia: Pada tahun 1972, Majelis Umum PBB mengadopsi resolusi yang menetapkan tanggal 5 Juni sebagai Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia, yang diadopsi oleh banyak negara sebagai momentum untuk memperkuat komitmen mereka terhadap perlindungan lingkungan.
Perkembangan Gerakan Lingkungan Global: Sejak pendirian UNEP dan peringatan Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia, gerakan lingkungan telah berkembang pesat di seluruh dunia. Organisasi non-pemerintah, aktivis lingkungan, dan masyarakat sipil telah memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan isu-isu lingkungan dan menekan pemerintah dan industri untuk bertindak.
Tema “Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience”: Setiap tahun, Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia memiliki tema tertentu yang dirancang untuk menyoroti isu-isu lingkungan khusus yang membutuhkan perhatian global. Tema ini sering kali mencakup isu-isu seperti perubahan iklim, keanekaragaman hayati, pengelolaan limbah, dan perlindungan sumber daya alam.
