Maa syaa Allah, we are thrilled to share the experiences of the AL-WILDAN ISLAMIC SCHOOL Overseas Program (Akhwat) participants as they visit historically significant places using tour bus facilities. 🕋✨
📜 Travel Route:
- Ma’la: The cemetery that is still debated as to whether it contains the grave of Khadijah, one of the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ wives.
- Jabal Thawr (جبل ثور): The historical site where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr took refuge during their migration from Mecca to Medina.
- Mount Arafat: A small hill located east of the Plain of Arafat, a historical site where Hajj pilgrims gather for wuquf on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah.
- Muzdalifah: The place where Hajj pilgrims stay on the night of the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah, passing through the Al-Mash’ar al-Haram Mosque and the Valley of Muhassir.
- Mina: The place of stay on the Day of Tarwiyah (8th Dhu al-Hijjah) and the Days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th, and 13th Dhu al-Hijjah). They visit historical sites such as the place where Ibrahim was about to sacrifice Ismail, the King’s Palace, Al-Khaef Mosque, and Jamarat (the place for stoning the jamarat).
- Cave of Hira: The historical site where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ received the first revelation.
- Mosque of the Jinn (مسجد الجن): The place where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was visited by a group of jinn to pledge allegiance.
This journey has provided profound experiences for the participants, enriched their knowledge of Islamic history, and brought them closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in syaa Allah.
